Mercedes-Benz is set to display 30 cars at the upcoming Paris motor show, with a sharp focus on electric mobility.

Celebrating their world premieres at Paris will be the electric drive versions of the new Smart Fortwo, the Smart Fortwo cabrio and, for the first time, the Smart Forfour. A new electric conept car, slated to be the preview of the new generation of battery-powered electric vehicles, will be shown for the first time at the show. Additionally, a new member of the E-class family – the E-class All-Terrain which is a new, lifestyle-oriented addition to the model range – will be on show for the first time as well.

From the German carmaker’s AMG range, GLC 43 4matic Coupé will be on display. It is powered by a 367hp 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. It also gets the AMG Performance 4matic all-wheel drive system. The car’s ground clearance can be increased at the touch of a button, while the pneumatic all-round self-leveling ensures a constant vehicle level at all times. Mercedes-AMG's continued expansion of the GT family will also be in evidence in Paris, with the carmaker set to present a further variant of the GT model series on the eve of the event.

Another highlight is the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, which is celebrating its show premiere in Paris. The 2+2-seater pays homage to the glorious age of the aero coupés. Measuring almost six metres in length, the Mercedes-Maybach is designed as an electric car that has a total output of 750hp. The flat battery in the underbody enables a range of more than 500km.
