According to Arvind Saxena, director, Marketing and Sales, “we have started the year on the right note and we hope the momentum will continue with the help of the stimulus package offered by the government.”

Hyundai sold 47,104 units in the A2 Segment consisting of its Santro, i10, Getz & i20 models. In the A3 segment which includes the Accent and Verna models, - 5,502 units were sold. However, its Sonata Tranform premium saloon managed to sell only 29 units, thanks to stiff competition from existing heavyweights like the Honda Accord and Skoda Laura. Car sales in January traditionally get a boost as buyers rush to purchase vehicles in the new model year.
