Honda claims the FCV to be the world’s first production model of a fuel-cell powered sedan to house the entire fuel-cell powertrain in the space normally occupied by the engine and transmission. Fitted with high output motors, the FCV has a range of more than 700km on a full charge. The Japanese version of the FCV will also feature an external power feeding inverter that will generate and provide electricity to communities in case of an emergency.
The Concept 2&4 which debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt motor show will also be present at the Honda stand. Also expected to make its Japanese debut is the new Civic Type R which is produced at the Honda plant in the UK. The carmaker will also showcase the all-new Japan exclusive S660 open-top sports mini-vehicle. Moreover, the long-awaited NSX hybrid supercar will also make an appearance along with several other racing machines.
