BMW India has launched the refreshed version of its X5 SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle). This mid-cycle refresh majorly consists of cosmetic appearance changes; The major styling change compared to the model on sale currently consists the newly designed front bumper with larger air-intakes that house the repositioned fog lights which are similar to the one found in the X6 SAV.
In addition to this with the standard fit Xenon headlights, they now incorporate LED Corona Rings. At the rear, the L-shaped, redesigned taillights, each with two homogeneously illuminated LED light banks, reflect the brand-typical night-time design of the rear end.
Two variants of are being offered, first is the new top-of-the-range model is the BMW X5 xDrive50i, has a twin turbo direct injected V8 engine has an output of 407 hp and torque of 62kgm at 1,750 – 4,500 rpm. The second model is BMW X5 xDrive30d with six cylinder diesel engine. It has the power output of 245 hp and torque of 55kgm at 1,750 – 3,000 rpm. All versions of the new BMW X5 are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Deliveries of the new BMW X5 will commence from October onwards. Both variants will be available in India as CBU (completely built-up unit) and the all India ex-showroom prices are as follows –

BMW X5 xDrive30d: Rs. 52,99,000
