Carmakers, both mass-market and premium ones, are looking to move slower-selling models and benefit from the upcoming festive season. Maruti Suzuki hopes to move more units of the Dzire as it is seeing increasing competition from the new Honda Amaze, while Ford dealers are clearing stocks of its compact sedan before the Aspire facelift arrives.
BMW 7-series
Save up to Rs 15 lakh
The 7-series is the most expensive BMW sedan sold globally. It provides a sporty driving experience thanks to its chassis, suspension and a refined set of petrol and diesel engine options, and comes loaded with tech. Its backseat is properly luxurious too. The BMW 7-series is available at a minimum discount of Rs 10 lakh going up to Rs 15 lakh for some variants. BMW sells its Mercedes-Benz S-class rival in India in four variants starting with the 730Ld, the 730Ld M Sport and the top-spec petrol powered 740Li Signature edition.
Audi A6
Save up to Rs 10 lakh
The current-gen A6 trumps on ride comfort, a long list of equipment and a decent diesel engine option. However, it is one of the oldest models on sale in the segment (where rivals include the Mercedes E-class and BMW 5-series) which means sales have tumbled down drastically. An all-new A6 is still some time away and in order to push stocks, dealers are offering discounts in the range of Rs 10 lakh on some variants. The model also comes with Audi’s clever Matrix headlamps, which makes the car look sharper than before.
Ford Aspire
Save up to Rs 80,000
In order to clear stocks of its compact sedan before the facelift arrives on October 4, Ford dealers across the country are offering cash benefits of up to Rs 80,000. The Aspire stands out against rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze for its ride and handling package but loses out to its competition in terms of its age. The refreshed model, with its new 96hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine, should help the Aspire sell better.
Hyundai Verna
Save up to Rs 80,000
A strong rival to the Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, the latest-gen Hyundai Verna comes loaded with features like LED lights, a sunroof and even cooled seats in some variants. Available in petrol and diesel engine options along with two gearbox choices, the model is now available with discounts and other offers adding up to Rs 80,000.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Save up to Rs 50,000
Stiff competition from the new Honda Amaze has prompted Maruti Suzuki dealers to offer discounts on its hot-selling Dzire compact sedan. Discounts and benefits ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 are being offered on most variants. The model now comes with a diesel-auto variant as well.
