Audi has introduced a new variant of its Q3 SUV, the Q3 Dynamic, in India at Rs 38.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The Q3 Dynamic is the range-topper and sits above the Premium+ trim level.

Highlight of this trim is the Audi Drive Select system. It allows the driver to adjust the suspension setting as per the situation. The Audi Drive Select system has three modes; comfort, auto and dynamic. The Comfort mode softens the suspension for a comfortable ride, while the dynamic mode offers a stiffer ride for better handling. The auto mode adjusts the suspensions automatically as per road conditions and driving styles.

Changes on the outside include chrome-plating on the grille and exhausts. It also gets metallic front and rear scuff plates and clear-lens LED tail-lights. The 17-inch alloys, Xenon headlamps with LED daytime-running lights and automatic headlight range adjustment are carried over from the Premium+ trim.

On the inside, the Q3 Dynamic is pretty much the same as the Premium+. It carries over the equipment and features like light and rain sensors, electrically adjustable front seats, infotainment system with sat-nav, six airbags, stability assist, parking sensors and cruise control.

The Q3 Dynamic is powered by the 174bhp 2.0-litre TDI mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Power is sent to all four wheels via the Audi Quattro system.

The Audi Q3 has been in the market for a while and the new top-end variant could possibly be a move by the company in preparation for Merc's new compact luxury crossover, the GLA, that will be launched on September 30.
