The Hero Xtreme 250R is a relatively new product, and, like many first-generation models, it faced some initial teething issues. Hero has been proactive in addressing these, and the 2026 manufacturing lots are understood to have received updates to improve reliability and overall refinement. That said, it is still early days for the bike, and a long-term ownership track record is still being established.As for the EICMA 2025 showcase of the Xtreme 250R with more features, it remains to be seen if and when Hero updates the India-spec bike with these features.
