The entry-level premium bike space in India is set to see a slew of launches from international heavyweights as well as homegrown titans in the coming months. Here’s a list of all the bikes set to arrive.

Next-gen KTM 390 Duke

One of the reasons the 390 Duke is so popular is that it ushered in an era of affordable performance bikes like nothing else when it launched back in 2013. Ten years later, we are on the verge of seeing perhaps the most comprehensive update to this little firecracker of a motorcycle.

Yamaha R3, MT-03

There’s been a lot of noise regarding Yamaha re-entering the premium bike space after an extended hiatus but of all the machines coming from Iwata, the YZF-R3 and the MT-03 are arguably the most hotly anticipated.

Bajaj/Triumph bikes

Triumph’s first modern-day single-cylinder engine will debut in just over a month and will find its way into two separate models. This bike will be built right here in India by Bajaj for domestic as well as export purposes.

Hero/HD 4XX

Harley-Davidson, the iconic American marque, has tied up with Indian behemoth, Hero MotoCorp, and this partnership’s first product will be making its debut soon. Dubbed the ‘4XX’, this bike is more roadster than traditional cruiser and, as with the aforementioned Triumphs, will be built right here in India by Hero MotoCorp.

RE Himalayan 450, 450cc roadster

Royal Enfield’s first liquid-cooled engine will debut on the Himalayan 450 (rumoured to launch this year) and will subsequently, find its way into the 450cc roadster. Both these bikes have been spotted multiple times both on our shores and overseas.

RE Shotgun 650, 650cc scrambler

Royal Enfield currently has three models in its line-up with the twin-cylinder 650cc engine, but there’s still a whole lot more in the pipeline. For those who want a sportier cruiser than the laidback Super Meteor 650, the Shotgun 650 should satiate their needs and for those who want to venture off the beaten path, there’s the 650cc scrambler

Aprilia RS 440

The Aprilia RS 440 is a much-needed product for the brand and will plug the yawning divide between the entry-level scooters and the ultra-premium superbikes sold by the Noale-based marque. And this will also be the first Aprilia motorcycle to be manufactured entirely in India. While we know this bike is going to be launched in the coming months, there’s a good chance it might be priced above the Rs 4 lakh mark.
