Ultraviolette has launched the Shockwave electric bike at Rs 1.50 lakh alongside its first-ever scooter, the Tesseract. This is an introductory ex-showroom price valid for the first 1,000 bookings, after which the Shockwave will cost Rs 1.75 lakh.

  1. Shockwave has a claimed IDC range of 165km
  2. It has 120kph top speed, can do 0-60kph in 2.9 seconds
  3. Available in two colours; deliveries begin in Q1 2026

Ultraviolette Shockwave launch details

Lightweight electric enduro bike coming next year

The Shockwave weighs 120kg and has a peak output of 14.7hp and 505Nm at the wheel (this number may seem huge because of the multiplication factor of the gearing). The Shockwave has a claimed top speed of 120kph and can manage the 0-60kph sprint in 2.9 seconds – the same as the Tesseract.

The company says the Shockwave has a claimed IDC range of 165km but hasn’t disclosed its battery capacity yet. The Shockwave is suspended by a 37mm USD fork and a monoshock, with 200mm and 180mm of suspension travel, respectively. Tyre sizes are 90/90-R19 (front) and 110/90-R17 (rear). Braking is handled by a 270mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc.

Two colours are available: yellow/black and white/red. Just like the Tesseract, the Shockwave’s deliveries are also slated to commence in Q1 2026.

Ultraviolette has a total of five platforms, with F standing for sportbikes, S standing for scooters, L for lightweight bikes, and two more platforms – X and B – which will spawn bikes of an unspecified form factor.
