TVS Raider 125 Doctor Doom Edition: what's new?
Marvel-themed Super Squad lineup, comprising the Raider 125 and NTorq, have crossed the 5 lakh mark since its launch.
The new Doctor Doom Edition is finished in a Spectral Green paint scheme that features a multi-tone effect, shifting from green to brown under different lighting conditions. It also gets Doctor Doom-inspired graphics on the fuel tank and side panels, joining the existing Super Squad Edition range that includes Iron Man, Black Panther, Deadpool and Wolverine-themed motorcycles.
TVS says the launch builds on its Marvel collaboration, with the Super Squad portfolio across the Raider 125 and NTorq having crossed 5 lakh cumulative sales since its introduction.
Mechanically, the Doctor Doom Edition is identical to the existing Raider Super Squad models. It continues to use the 124.8cc, air- and oil-cooled, single-cylinder, three-valve engine producing 11.4hp and 11.7Nm. The motorcycle also retains features such as the connected reverse LCD display with over 85 connected functions and iGO Assist technology.
The Doctor Doom Edition is priced at Rs 95,320 (ex-showroom, Delhi), matching the price of the other TVS Raider 125 Super Squad Edition variants. It will be available at authorised TVS dealerships in the coming weeks.
