Italian manufacturer MV Agusta has launched the F3 RC superbike in India at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Only six units of the limited-edition motorcycle will be available in India, finished in a triple-tone racing livery.
The fully faired F3 RC (Reparto Corse) is powered by a 798cc, three-cylinder engine that puts out 153hp at 13,250rpm and 88Nm of torque at 10,600rpm. The F3 RC has a claimed dry weight of 165kg and a top speed of 240kph.
In terms of equipment, the superbike gets an SC-Project exhaust, anodized aluminium mirror caps, billet aluminium brake/clutch levers, and billet aluminium foot pegs. The RC also comes with a fibre-glass rear seat cover, a bike cover, a rear paddock stand and a limited-edition certificate of origin.
At Rs 21.99 lakh, the F3 RC comes across as being overpriced, especially when you consider that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R costs Rs 8 lakh less while also being more powerful. However, what you do get for the price is an exotic and rare Italian superbike. The brand also recently launched the limited-run Brutale RR America in India, priced at Rs 18.73 lakh.
