Italian bikemaker MV Agusta has taken the wraps off its special-edition ‘Reparto Corse’ line-up overseas. The entire range of the 800cc triple-cylinder machines – the F3 800 sportbike, Dragster SCS naked and Turismo Veloce tourer – has been given the RC treatment. This includes numerous performance-enhancing upgrades (only to the F3 and the Dragster), an exclusive livery and a certified plaque from the company to confirm their authenticity.

MV Agusta F3 800 RC: details
The F3 800 RR’s special edition – the RC – builds up further on its capable base. In its previous avatar, the F3 800 RC greatly impressed us when we rode it.
In its RC trim, the F3 800 sportbike makes 147hp, and pairing it to the Akrapovic racing exhaust and specific map supplied with the bike bumps up the power to 153hp. The exhaust doesn’t just help in bumping up the output, it also helps shed 8kg off the F3 800 RC’s weight, which now tips the scales at 165kg (dry), claims MV Agusta. The FR 800 RC also gets a special Titanium Nitride coating on its fork stanchions compared to the RR version.
MV Agusta Dragster RC SCS: details
The Dragster RC SCS is, coincidentally, also 8kg lighter than the ‘standard’ Dragster SCS, due to a lightweight titanium SC Project exhaust (which comes with a dedicated tune). It also gets the same special coating on its front fork as the F3 800 RC, along with forged aluminium alloy wheels compared to the spoked aluminium units on the standard version.
MV Agusta Turismo Veloce RC: details
Notably, the Turismo Veloce RC is the only model in this line-up to forego any mechanical changes, with the only change over the regular version being the special colourway.
The entire RC line-up gets an exclusive livery in the colours of the Italian flag, CNC machined levers and foot pegs, as well as a numbered plaque from the company confirming its authenticity, which adds to the air of exclusivity.
MV Agusta in India
MV Agusta has been missing from the Indian market since parting ways with the now-defunct Motoroyale group, with whom they had partnered for their Indian operations. As of now, there is no clarity on the return of this storied Italian bikemaker to our market, although CEO Timur Sardarov has revealed in the past that they are looking out for a new partner in our market.
