The India Bike Week (IBW), one of India’s largest motorcycle events, will be held on December 2 and 3, 2022, in Goa. The IBW returns to Goa after a gap of three years, with the last edition being held in the year 2019. In its eighth edition since its inception in 2013, IBW promises to treat  motorcycle enthusiasts to a variety of events, activities and live performances.

  • IBW returns to Goa after three years
  • Loads of activities planned at the event
  • Thousands expected to congregate

As before, thousands of people are expected to attend the event, and in many ways, the IBW is a melting pot of motorcycles and motorcyclists of every type. Major motorcycle manufacturers such as BMW Motorrad, Kawasaki and KTM will be present at the event, displaying their latest and greatest motorcycles.

2022 India Bike Week (IBW): what’s in store?

Besides the plethora of motorcycles to check out at the event, IBW has a number of activities and events lined up. For those looking at honing their riding skills, there are activities for Motocross and ADV motorcycle fans. For instance, there’s a Hill Climb competition where the fastest rider to reach the summit wins. Then, there’s an oval-shaped mud course for riders to experience the beauty of flat-track riding and learn more about throttle finesse and traction.

Adventure motorcycle riders, meanwhile, can test their skills negotiating the obstacles at the Adventure Flow Track or ploughing through dirt and slush at the Dirt Dash section. For those looking to explore, there are secret trail rides with the Goa Motorcycling Club being organised.

What if you lack the skills to tackle all of these courses? Experts such as Nelly Pro Dirt Adventure or Vishak from the BAR Academy will be at hand to help you learn the necessary skills and techniques to ride.

There are also a number of events lined up. From open mic sessions to DJs playing their set, there’s a lot in store. The highlight though is the chance to interact with some of the most renowned people in the motorcycling space in India.

There’s Yogi Chabaria of YC Design, Marco Rosetto, founder Mini GP India, Shardul Sharma, India’s first participant to the Red Bull Romaniacs, and others, who will be sharing their experiences. As before, there will be a special Collector’s Area that displays a variety of motorcycles, ranging from vintage to modern ones. Those looking for merchandise, riding gear and more are sure to be spoilt for choice. As for the foodies, there’s a lot to look forward to eating as well, especially at The Big Forkers Meat Fest.

2022 India Bike Week (IBW): tickets
