Honda has issued a recall for 50,034 units of the CBS-equipped Honda Aviator (Disc), Activa 125 (Disc), Grazia (Disc) and CB Shine (Self Disc) in India. This is being done to address an issue with the front brake master cylinder that could hinder the rotation of the front wheel and even lead to a complete jam in severe cases.

The Japanese two-wheeler company has said that it will voluntarily inspect these models manufactured between February 4 and July 3, 2019. Honda will also replace the suspected part, if required, at no cost.

The company will notify affected customers through its dealers for inspection of their vehicle, starting today. Customers can also check if their vehicle is affected by submitting their unique Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in the Campaign section on the company’s website.
