Hero MotoCorp has teased that it will be bestowing its Xpulse 200 4V with a few updates soon. These include a redesigned LED headlight and what appear to be different levels of ABS intervention.

Hero Xpulse 200 4V: 2023 updates

The most noticeable change to the Xpulse 200 4V, visually, is the new LED headlight (which has Daytime Running Lamps that look like the letter ‘H’, like most new products from the brand).

The other update appears to be the addition of dual-channel ABS as well as three adjustable levels of ABS sensitivity – Road, Off-road and Rally. It seems that Road will most likely have a conventional dual-channel ABS set up. Where there’s a bit of murkiness is whether the ABS can be switched off entirely in the Off-road mode or if the intrusion will be minimised. It also remains to be seen whether the Rally mode allows you to turn off the ABS completely at both ends or not.

Other than these two changes, we expect the bike to remain quite similar to the current model. The Xpulse 200 4V is powered by an air/oil-cooled, 199.6cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 19.1hp and 17.35Nm of torque. With these updates, expect the price of the Xpulse 200 4V to increase slightly from the current Rs 1,38,766 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
