KTM dealers have begun accepting bookings for the BS6-compliant 2020 KTM 250 Duke at Rs 5,000. These dealers are suggesting that the new model will cost only Rs 4,000 more than the outgoing BS4 model, which means, it’ll have an ex-showroom price of Rs 2 lakh and an on road cost of around Rs 2.35 lakh (depending on the state).

The small price hike doesn’t come as a surprise as the 250 Duke was already a fuel-injected model. KTM must only have had to make changes to the catalytic converter of the exhaust system and also the map. However, the images dealers have sent to us suggest that the BS6-compliant model will get a new silver colour, along with revised graphics. It won’t be long before KTM sends out official information, which is when we can confirm all of the technical and cosmetic changes.

Once the information is sent out by the bike maker, the 250 Duke will officially become the second KTM to become BS6-compliant; the first one was the KTM 390 Adventure that was launched a few days ago. Interestingly, KTM is also readying the BS6-compliant 390 Duke and it's going to come with a quickshifter as standard.
