After revealing the first all-electric Polo model, Volkswagen has unveiled the performance-oriented ID Polo GTI internationally. While it gets the same 52kWh battery pack as the higher-spec version of the standard ID Polo EV, Volkswagen has offered it with a 15hp more powerful electric motor on the front axle. It has a claimed range of 424km and can be charged from 10-80 percent in 24 minutes with a 105kW DC fast charger. While the GTI model's silhouette is similar to the standard Polo EV, it gets new LED headlights, redesigned alloys, a fresh spoiler and new bumpers. Inside, it comes in a darker theme, in addition to the same features as the standard ID Polo.
