Tesla has introduced the Model Y L at an ex-showroom price of Rs 62 lakh. On the inside, the biggest change here is the addition of an extra row of seats, making the Model Y L a 6-seater. The second row features power-adjustable captain chairs that get electronically operated armrests, one-touch folding, along with heating, ventilation, and the third row seats get powered recline, one-touch folding and dedicated AC vents. The Model Y L carries on the same minimalist theme as its other versions and can be specced in all-black or black and grey theme at an additional cost. There’s also a 16-inch touchscreen infotainment system that houses a majority of the car's functions and an 8-inch display for the second row passengers. Below the screen are felt-lined dual wireless phone chargers with a 50W output. The front centre console comprises storage spaces, twin cupholders and an armrest. Adding airiness to the cabin is a panoramic glass roof. Features over the standard versions include an under-thigh extension for the first row seats and an 18-speaker system with a subwoofer. Meanwhile, goodies like powered, heated and ventilated driver and front passenger seats, ambient lighting, powered front and rear AC vents, eight exterior cameras, panoramic glass roof, connected features and streaming services, heated steering and windshield and a dashcam have been carried over.
