Mercedes' performance division AMG has launched the GT 63 and the more performance-focused GT 63 Pro in India at Rs 3 crore and Rs 3.65 crore (ex-showroom), respectively. With these coupes, AMG's India line-up now has nine models. Both GT 63s are powered by a hand-built 4-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic and AMG's 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive. In the GT 63, it makes 585hp and 800Nm, while the GT 63 Pro gets a bump to 612hp and 850Nm. The GT 63 does 0-100kph in 3.2 seconds, with the Pro shaving that to 3.1 seconds (with optional Cup 2R tyres). The Pro also hits a slightly higher top speed of 317kph, 2kph more than the standard coupe.
