Honda's new SP160 takes the form of a stylish and premium commuter bike. Compared to the more old-school Unicorn it's based on, it gets sharper lines and a more modern look. It also rolls on 17-inch wheels as opposed to the Unicorn's 18-inchers. The SP identity comes from the LED headlight, which bears a strong resemblance to the smaller SP125. The tail lamp is also an LED unit, and sports a rather unique and distinctive design. At its heart lies the same 162cc air-cooled engine as the Unicorn, making the same 13.5hp and 14.5Nm. It ticks an important commuter box by being a roomy motorcycle with a spacious seat. Though small, the LCD screen shows a good deal of information. Outwardly, quality and finish levels are as you'd expect from a Honda at this price point.... ... but a slightly deeper dive reveals some untidy panel gaps and welds in a few areas. The new SP160 is Honda's third 160cc offering, and sits between the Unicorn and the XBlade.
