Honda has unveiled the CB125 Hornet in India. The baby Hornet gets funky styling and a decent feature list. The CB125 Hornet is powered by the same 123.94cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that also does duty on the Honda SP 125 and Shine 125. However, in this application, it produces slightly more power – 11.1hp and 11.2Nm – an increase of over 0.3hp and 0.2Nm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
It comes equipped with a golden USD fork – a segment-first – along with a preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a 240mm petal disc with single-channel ABS at the front and a drum brake at the rear. It rolls on 17-inch wheels at both ends, wrapped in 80/100-17 (front) and 110/80-17 (rear) tyres. The bike also features the same 4.2-inch TFT display as the Hornet 2.0, offering Bluetooth connectivity via Honda’s RoadSync app. The Hornet 125 will be available in four funky colour options – Red, Fluorescent Yellow, Blue and Black – with alloy wheels colour-matched to the bodywork.
Pricing and booking details will be announced on August 1.
