Ferrari has unveiled its flagship series production model, the 849 Testarossa, in India. The supercar is priced at Rs 10.37 crore ex-showroom, excluding options and rivals the Lamborghini Revuelto. Powering the 849 Testarossa is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine working in tandem with three electric motors. It produces a combined power output of 1050hp and is mated with an 8-speed dual clutch gearbox. The carmaker claims that the 849 can do the 0-100kph in 2.25 seconds, 0-200kph in 6.3 seconds, and maxes out at 330kph. It gets a retro futuristic exterior and a driver-focused interior, with a 16-inch digital driver's display, a 9-inch passenger display, and a high-set centre console comprising the gear lever, for easier access. Additionally, it gets an active aero panel at the back, which adds 100kg of downforce. The 849 Testarossa replaces the SF90 Stradale in Ferrari's portfolio.
