The Ducati Monster 100 is one of ten motorcycles in the Collezione 100, Ducati's limited-edition centenary collection, and is limited to just 100 individually numbered units worldwide. Its livery draws from the 2008 Monster S4Rs Tricolore – the final edition of the first-generation Monster, a model that Ducati produced from 1993 until 2008 and which became one of the most recognisable motorcycles not just in the brand's history but in the naked bike segment globally. The Italian tricolore finish – green, white and red – gives the Monster 100 a distinctly patriotic character that sets it apart from the more sombre colour schemes elsewhere in the Collezione 100.Over the standard Monster, the 100 edition adds an Alcantara seat with an embroidered Ducati 100 logo, a windshield, a seat cover kit that gives the bike a single-seater appearance, and a dry clutch – complete with a carbon fibre cover supplied with the package. A Centenary Bronze numbered plate is riveted to the billet steering clamps, with the same bronze finish carried through to the fuel tank cap ring and brake calipers.
