The BMW CE 04 is currently the most expensive electric two-wheeler on sale in India, priced at Rs 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With its sharp, unconventional styling, it stands apart in the market and doesn’t have a direct rival. While BMW hasn’t officially revealed what ‘CE’ stands for, its design leads us to believe it refers to Concept Electric — a name that would suit its distinctive appearance.
It is powered by an 8.9kWh battery pack, paired with a liquid-cooled electric motor that produces 42hp (31kW) and 62Nm of torque. BMW claims a top speed of 120kph and a range of 130km on a full charge, which should be enough for most city commutes.
The CE 04 blends unique styling, solid performance, and a high price tag, making it more of a design-led offering for a niche audience rather than a volume-oriented product.
