The RS3 Competition Limited celebrates 50 years of Audi’s iconic 5-cylinder engine with a production run of just 750 units worldwide.
Smoked headlights feature DRLs that perform a start-up animation mimicking the engine’s 1-2-4-5-3 firing order.
Front bumper canards and carbon ceramic front brakes are standard fit.
19-inch Neodyne Gold alloys look slick, and the rear quarter-windows carry commemorative lettering.
Should you prefer a more petite package, the RS3 Competition Limited is available in hatchback form too.
Three colour options are on offer: Daytona Grey, Glacier White Matte, and Malachite Green.
Bootlid spoiler is carved out from the middle, and the dual exhaust tips look menacing.
Neodyne Gold accents and Dinamica suede upholstery adorn the steering wheel, seats, armrests, and door panels.
Matte carbonfibre interior trim looks sporty, and the bevy of physical controls on offer is an endearing sight.
Each of the 750 examples carries a unique numbered plaque below the gear selector.
Luggage space stands at 321 litres, and the boot floor sports 'RS3 Competition Limited' lettering too.
The baby RS gets a 400hp 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo-petrol motor paired with a 7-speed DCT.
For the RS3 Competition Limited, Audi has used a unique suspension setup with manually adjustable coil-over dampers and a stiffer stabiliser bar.
0-100kph comes up in a claimed 3.8 seconds, and the top speed is rated at 290kph.

Audi has pulled the covers off the RS3 Competition Limited, which is limited to 750 units worldwide and serves as a 50-year celebration for the German carmaker's famed 5-cylinder petrol engine. This unique, odd-numbered mill was first used in the 1976 Audi 100, and then found its way into the world of rallying. In its present-day state, the engine outputs 400hp and 500Nm, and powers only the RS3. Sadly, Audi's 5-cylinder engine is unlikely to comply with or be upgraded for the incoming Euro 7 emission norms in 2027, so the RS3 may well be its swansong.
