The fourth generation BMW X3 was launched in India at the 2025 Auto Expo held earlier this year. While the luxury BMW model's last three generations cemented its reputation as the most fun to drive midsize luxury SUV, the current X3 focuses more on comfort. Talking about the interior comfort and luxury quotient of the new X3, the front seats are comfy, well-cushioned, and offer powered lumbar adjustment and ventilation. The rear seats are also comfortable, with good thigh support and generous kneeroom. The new SUV's design looks sharp and muscular without relying on overt cues, as noted in our BMW X3 review. As for the X3's performance and driving experience, the SUV gets 2-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol and diesel engines, both paired with an 8-speed torque converter auto and BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive. The X3 20 xDrive petrol makes 190hp and 310Nm, while the X3 20d xDrive diesel puts out 197hp and 400Nm. X3 diesel price is Rs 77.8 lakh, while the petrol variant costs Rs 75.8 lakh, both ex-showroom.
