It uses the same 398.6cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, but gets revised sprocketing with a 48-tooth rear sprocket for better low-end torque. The engine produces 46hp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 39Nm at 6,500rpm.
What is the fuel tank capacity of the KTM 390 Enduro R?
The bike gets a tiny 9-litre fuel tank, which will be more than ideal for trail riding but not the most practical for long distance touring.
What is the difference between the India-spec KTM 390 Enduro R and the International-spec model?
The international-spec model gets 230mm of suspension travel at both ends, while the India-spec Enduro R sticks to 200mm at the front and 205mm at the rear, which is the same as the 390 Adventure. With this change, the seat height of the India-spec bike stands at a more accessible 860mm compared to the international-spec model with a taller 890mm seat height.
