•33wI've driven various cars between 1990 and 2015. Sold my last 2005 Swift ZXi in 2015 @ 40000KMs. I haven't bought a car in 10 years & am still surviving. (Ola, Uber, etc., helped a lot). If I were to buy a car now, which car would be best for me, with no daily trips, a few random city trips, and some rare trips out of the city, roughly 300 to 400 km/month? I prefer an automatic, reliable, no-nonsense 5-seater compact SUV within 10 lakh for my kind of usage.

The Maruti Fronx 1.2P Delta+ AMT variant is a competent, no-nonsense family crossover that falls within your budget. However, if you are open to the hatchback body style, pick the Hyundai i20 1.2P IVT Sportz variant for its smoother transmission.
