When buying used, the lower the mileage, the better. However, make sure you check the car out thoroughly and look for cars that still have valid warranties. You could also consider buying a used car from some of the well-known pre-owned car platforms. While you may pay a bit more, you will have clear documentation and perhaps a warranty from the platform, too.
I intend to buy a pre-owned diesel car. My monthly travel would be around 1,500 km, mostly on intercity highways around Ahmedabad. My budget is ₹8–9 lakh, and I prefer a manual transmission. What mileage should I consider acceptable while purchasing a used diesel car? I am looking at 2023 models of both the Altroz XZ+ and the Sonet HTK+.
