I heard about plans for the five-seat Tiguan to be relaunched. Since I was planning to get a five-seater, should I go for it or for an electric SUV?

Yes, there is an updated Tiguan five-seater being planned and we expect it to be launched in the first half of 2021. It’s a solid, well-built SUV, but it will be on the expensive side, as it will initially be an import. There are a handful of electric crossovers already in the market, like the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona and Tata Nexon EV. However, these EVs are practical only for in-city use as there is no charging infrastructure on the highways.
