New tyres for a 2011 Honda City

I have 185/65 R15 Bridgestone tyres on my 2011 Honda City, which I bought pre-owned in 2016. I am not sure if the tyres were changed before I bought it, but I haven’t done so. I noticed that the ride was very stiff, and I tried changing the suspension components. Unfortunately, I had no luck. I am planning to change the tyres for a smooth ride. My travel is mostly within the city and with family on weekends. Which are good tyres for a smooth and comfortable ride?

You can check the manufacturing date of the tyres; it should be embossed on the sidewall. If you have bought the car in 2016, the tyres are already over three years old and hence have gotten hard with age. You might also notice they have cracks in the rubber, and it would be advisable to change the tyres. You could opt for Michelins or Goodyears, as both would give you a comfortable ride.
