Is there any news of a Vespa electric scooter coming to India? I am also waiting for an Ultraviolette electric scooter so that I can exchange my Vespa S125.

No, Vespa currently doesn't retail any electric scooter models in India. The Ultraviolette Tesseract is due to be launched in the first quarter of 2027 and, on paper at least, it has some solid specifications which will force the industry to sit up and take notice.
If you want an EV that is classically styled, the Bajaj Chetak is a good option. The TVS Radeon is a wonderful commuter which will return great fuel economy and be hassle-free to maintain in the long run. While it may look like your run-of-the-mill commuter, it doesn't feel quite as mundane as its rivals. One point to note is that the Radeon's shocks work best if you are on the heavier side or if you ride two-up, so if you are a skinnier rider, you may want to look elsewhere.If you do want something more comfortable, then the Bajaj Platina 110 is what you should be looking at in a similar price bracket.Take test rides of both machines to see which one you find more comfortable before you go ahead with your purchase.

Hi, I would like your suggestion on a good bike for my needs. I am 40 years old, 5'9" tall, weigh 115 kg, and have a family. My daily commute is 72 km. The road conditions are around 6 out of 10, considering potholes and speed breakers. After owning and loving my Yamaha MT-15 for the past 7 years, I'm finally looking for my next motorcycle, one I'll hopefully keep for the next 10+ years. I've test-ridden the new Duke, Speed 400, and Triumph Tracker 400. Duke: Absolutely loved its chassis, handling, braking, and confidence, but the aggressive styling and character aren't really my taste. Speed 400: Silky smooth, refined, and comfortable, but it didn't excite me enough. Tracker 400: My favourite among the Triumphs. I loved how naturally it leaned with my body and how confidently it absorbed bad roads. I just wished it had a bit more power and an even smoother drivetrain. These rides made me realise I'm looking for an enthusiast motorcycle, not just a comfortable commuter. Budget: Less than Rs 5 lakh (slightly stretchable). Could you please suggest the best bike to upgrade to for me?

I have been using the Hero Passion Pro for the last 12 years, and I now think it is time to upgrade. My budget is up to Rs. 2.5 lakh. I live in Pune, and around 80% of my usage is city riding, with a 250 km long ride every alternate weekend. I hope you can suggest a good option.

Since you predominantly use your bike inside Pune city, choosing a machine with good comfort would be wise. Neo-retro machines like the Honda CB350 trio, Royal Enfield Hunter / Classic / Bullet 350 and TVS Ronin would fit the bill well and offer you a great step up from your Passion Pro too. If instead you want something off-road oriented, then the Hero Xpulse 210 and TVS Apache RTX 300 will make sense. Take a test ride of these very different bikes before you make your decision.
