2027 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the sub-4-metre compact SUV segment. We’ll probably see a Tata Nexon facelift, a Kia Sonet facelift, Volkswagen’s version of the Skoda Kylaq, the Hyundai Ioniq P, and production versions of some of Mahindra’s Vision S and Vision X concepts, among others. For someone looking to buy a car in this segment but not in a rush, would you suggest waiting for these upcoming launches?
Since 2027 is just around the corner, it would be worth waiting to see which compact SUVs will launch. You'll also have all sorts of powertrain options - petrol, diesel, CNG and EV - to choose from. However, it may also be worth checking out year-end deals, as you could get a great discount on a current compact SUV, which may just swing your decision about waiting for new launches.
