•29wI’m looking at SUVs around ₹13–14 lakh, and the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is on my list. What engine and transmission options does it offer? Does it come with hybrid or CNG versions as well?

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris keeps things versatile with three powertrain choices. The familiar 1.5-litre petrol smart-hybrid is offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. The latter is even available with Maruti’s ALLGRIP Select all-wheel-drive system.
There’s also a factory-fitted CNG option that uses the same 1.5-litre motor, paired to a manual gearbox and featuring an underbody tank that doesn’t eat into boot space.
At the top of the range sits the strong-hybrid version, which combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an AC synchronous motor and runs through an e-CVT. It also brings selectable drive modes – Eco, Normal, and Power – to balance efficiency and performance
