    I am looking to upgrade to an entry-level luxury SUV, and I am confused between the GLA 220d 4Matic, the BMW X1, and the old Audi Q3 Sportback. My usage is mainly city driving with occasional highway use, so mileage is important, but so are plush interiors, comfort, and driving experience with good value for money. Should I also wait for the new generation Q3 to be launched in India? I am not entirely sold on its exterior cosmetic changes of the global variant. Should I also wait for any other launches?

    The Mercedes-Benz GLA220d will be your best bet, for its punchy yet efficient diesel engine, and its plush interiors, which add to the overall feel-good factor. It is also nice to drive, and even though it is a touch pricey, it delivers a luxurious experience which you expect at this price.

It has a refined and powerful six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that offers an excellent driving experience, but at the same time, the long wheelbase allows it to have fantastic legroom at the rear. If you want to be chauffeur-driven but also enjoy driving by yourself, the 330Li will offer the best of both worlds.

    Asked by: Manish I want to buy a seven-seater car in the ₹50-60 lakh budget range, with good mileage and power. Should I opt for the Fortuner or consider some other car? While the Toyota Fortuner has strong road presence and a powerful image, it does not offer a premium and sophisticated experience that is expected of the price. The Skoda Kodiaq would be a better choice as it has the right level of premiumness and performance, and is a lot more comfortable than the Fortuner. Mileage numbers will be similar for both SUVs, but the diesel engine in the Fortuner would be a bit easier on the pocket. Our recommendation would be the Skoda Kodiaq as it offers better value and is a better product overall.

    Asked by: Aniruddha Naik Hi team, I am planning to buy a new car next year. I currently own a Kia Sonet GTX Plus and now want to move to a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine option. My budget is around ₹30 to 35 lakh maximum. I want strong performance, a good suspension setup, good handling and, most importantly, comfort for rear passengers and long drives. Kindly suggest which SUVs fit my budget. I have shortlisted the Jeep Compass Model S for its 4x4 option and the Mahindra XUV700 for its AWD option. I am open to other suggestions as well. The Jeep Compass Model S is the more premium option, with a higher-quality interior and stronger badge value. However, it's also quite a bit more expensive when you consider the top 4x4 version, and most of all, for your requirements, the rear seat isn't all that spacious.You should definitely go with the Mahindra XUV700 AWD, as it offers more space in the back as well as more features. Its 2.2-litre diesel engine is strong (and so is the 2.0 petrol, in case you're interested), and ride quality and handling are very good too.If you can wait a little bit, a facelifted version of the XUV700 is arriving in early 2026, which should be improved in many areas, especially when it comes to features.     Asked by: Alex S I'm looking to upgrade my 2016 Celerio (manual) to a non-Maruti non-AMT automatic in the next 1 or 2 years within a budget of 12-15 lakhs on road. My usage would be 1000km monthly (80% city and 20% highways) plus occasional highway trips. My priorities are hassle-free maintenance & service experience, good resale value, mileage, driving comfort, lower NVH levels, jerk-free transmission, driver handrest, wireless Android auto, height adjustable ventilated seat, 360 camera. No sunroof. Please suggest. In 1 to 2 years, there would be differences from what is available in the segment today. However, based on what's likely to be around, we would recommend you look at the Hyundai Venue, which meets your requirements of a good service experience, good resale value and being feature-packed.
