Best premium commuter upgrade from an older bike

My father rides an old TVS Star City about 40km every day, mostly in the city with a fair bit of traffic. I want to get him a little more modern and premium bike but I still want it to be easy for him to ride.

What options should I consider?

Since you haven’t specified that your dad wants to stick to a 100-110cc, it’s worth looking at the 125cc segment. The step up in performance is gentle, and it gives you far more choice.

The Honda SP125 is a solid, no-nonsense option with excellent build quality and refinement. But if you’d like something with a bit more flair, the new Hero Glamour X stands out since it packs in segment-first features, while still being a commuter at its core.
