•21wI am planning to buy a family SUV for five members. Most rides will be in the city, and highways will be less than 500 km per quarter. It will mostly be my second car, as I will use a smaller car as my primary vehicle. My budget is up to ₹20 lakh. I have shortlisted the Kia Clavis, Scorpio N, XUV700, and am also considering the Innova Petrol GXO variant (I know it exceeds ₹20 lakh, but it is more of a desire than a requirement). Please suggest the best option, especially your point of view on the Kia Clavis petrol.

The Kia Carens Clavis would be a good choice. Compared to the Mahindra Scorpio N and XUV700, it’s easier to drive and park in the city thanks to its compact dimensions and light controls.
Despite being smaller, it’s surprisingly practical and actually a better seven-seater.
The Innova Hycross with the naturally aspirated petrol engine is also a good option. However, for a similar price, you can get the top variant of the Clavis. Considering your city-focused usage, the Clavis makes more sense.
Its 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with the dual-clutch automatic is smooth and responsive. It offers enough performance for both city driving and highway trips, even with a full load.
