F4 India Round 2
Sachel Rotge kicked off the weekend with victory in Race 1, becoming the first-ever F4 Global Shootout graduate to win a race in the championship. One of the standout drives of the day came from Ghazi Motlekar, who climbed from P10 to P2. He was followed closely by Annabel Kennedy, who completed the podium.
In Race 2, Madesh had the perfect launch off the line to go from P8 to P2 on the opening lap itself. It didn’t take him too long to seize the lead after that, and he held on to the position till the chequered flag. Rotge and Motlekar were locked in battle for second place, but Rotge eventually gained the upper hand to deny Kolkata Royal Tigers a 1-2 finish.
Chandaria delivered a lights-to-flag victory from pole in Race 3, but he had to hold off relentless pressure from Madesh. Rotge won the final race of the weekend after starting from third on the grid. Luviwe Sambudla put up a strong fight to hold Rotge back but had to settle for second place, ahead of Saishiva Sankaran.
With the first two rounds out of the way, both Madesh and Rotge have established themselves as the frontrunners in this year’s F4 India title fight. With Super Licence points up for grabs, there’s plenty on the line.

Indian Racing League Round 2
Starting from pole position in Race 1, Mohsin enjoyed a strong start and quickly built a gap out front to take a comfortable win. Alister Yoong initially passed reigning F4 India champion Aqil Alibhai at the start. But the fight for P2 went right down to the wire, and Alibhai pulled off a last corner lunge to secure the spot.
Sohil Shah held off early pressure from Akshay Bohra to hold on to the lead in Race 2. Despite a couple of Safety Car appearances and even a Red Flag restart, he managed to keep the chasing pack at bay to take victory. Bouncing back from a tough opening round at Kari Motor Speedway, Jon Lancaster secured the final spot on the podium.
The Indian Racing Festival will return to the Kari Motor Speedway for Round 3 on October 3-5.
