Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS) has inaugurated its first franchise outlet in Chennai. The workshop is located in Ekkattuthangal and the franchisee is called KLN Motor Agencies. The company claims to have appointed another 10 franchisee workshops in the Chennai cluster, which will be inaugurated in the next three months.
At the launch, YVS Vijay Kumar, CEO, MFCS said, "With a car population of over six lakh and a culture of strong process adherence, Chennai was the logical choice for us to establish our first franchisee workshop. Moreover, we already have a strong network in the city with three COCO workshops at Ambattur, Guindy and Nerkundram. With its strategic location and local knowledge, KLN Motor Agency will help MFCS to further enhance its reach and reputation as its franchisee partner."
MFCS has set a target of inaugurating over 100 workshops across the country by the end of this fiscal. It is also exploring the possibilities of setting up workshops in new locations like Amritsar, Chandigarh, Patiala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR and Karnataka.
The company is also working on expanding its presence in the country through this franchise model. Currently, MFCS operates 28 Company Owned and Company Operated (COCO) workshops across the country.
The company also recently launched an online 'car dent estimator' tool, which can be used not just by its own customers but by any car owner.
