Volkswagen has announced a special edition Touareg X to mark the tenth anniversary of its SUV, which will be a 1000-unit run based on the mid-spec V6 TDI Lux trim for the German and US markets.
Added kit includes 19-inch “Moab” wheels, LED tail-lights and ‘Touareg X’ badging. All 1,000 Touareg X units will be available in a Moonlight Blue Pearl paint shade only.
There are minor tweaks on the inside as well, with black Vienna leather, a black headliner and piano black trim adorning the cabin. There are also aluminium door sills and pedals.
The special edition Volkswagen Touareg X’s mechanicals remain unchanged.
