Toyota lockout ends, but not dispute

Workers refuse to sign undertaking of good behaviour or enter premises.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has lifted the lockout at its Bidadi plant. However, 4,200 workers from the union refused to enter the premises as they refused to sign an undertaking of good behaviour that the TKM management had asked for. 
 
Speaking to our sister publication, Autocar Professional, Prasanna Kumar, president of TKM workers' union alleged that the carmaker is allowing contract and unskilled labour to carry out production in the factory.
