Suzuki will show three new concepts at the Tokyo motor show next month.
The first, called the Crosshiker, is a compact crossover described by the firm as an alternative to the Regina/G70 concept seen in 2011. It's the same size as a compact car with a body that weighs in at 810kg. It's powered by a new three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine.
Next is the X-Lander concept, which rides on the same platform as the Suzuki Jimny. It gets four-wheel drive and is powered by a 1.3-litre engine in combination with an electric motor, all linked to an automated manual gearbox.
Finishing the concept line-up is the Hustler, a new crossover that Suzuki is planning to slot into the minicar segment. Described as being "a crossover that suits an active lifestyle", the concept gets plenty of SUV styling with a large interior space.
A coupé version of the Hustler will also be shown, alongside the iV-4 concept seen at the Frankfurt motor show.
