Isuzu Motors India and TVS Automobile Solutions (TASL), a leading automotive aftermarket solutions company have inaugurated a multi-brand MyTVS service facility at Torque Isuzu in Ahmedabad. This facility will deliver multi-brand services under the brand – MyTVS.

  • The MyTVS facilities will be within the Isuzu workshop premises but will have dedicated equipment for other brands.
  • Other Isuzu dealer partners can opt to become franchisees of MyTVS.
  • MyTVS facilities will undertake various types of services including body/accidental repairs.

How does this Isuzu and TASL partnership work?

Under the partnership, Isuzu dealer partners who have additional capacity can opt to become franchisees of MyTVS providing dedicated and shared services within their existing Isuzu service facilities itself. The facility of MyTVS while within the Isuzu workshop premises will have dedicated facilities for other brands. The predominant part of the workshop will continue to operate as an exclusive Isuzu facility, but some services will be shared. This is to bring about efficiency and ensure better viability for the dealer while providing more reach for MyTVS.

What services will the MyTVS facilities provide?

The MyTVS facility will offer services such as general service and body/accidental repairs for multi-brand motor vehicles other than Isuzu vehicles. It aims to provide quality services to customers like quick service, speed wash as well as cashless insurance at reasonable costs. The identified manpower is trained with special focus on skill inventory, gap analysis and aggregate repairs for the multi-brand service.

What are Isuzu’s future plans in India?

Isuzu will be updating its range to comply with the new emissions regulations, though it has pushed the launch of its BS6 models to second-half of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The carmaker has even previously announced that both D-Max V-cross pick-up and MU-X SUV will see a price hike of around Rs 3-4 lakh in their BS6 form
