Fiat India has rolled out its 3,00,000th car, a 2014 Fiat Linea sedan, in India from the Ranjangaon plant in Pune. The facility is a joint venture with Tata Motors and it also produces petrol and diesel engines that are supplied to Maruti.

The Ranjangaon plant is spread across 200 acres and employs around 4,000 personnel. It has an annual capacity of producing 1,60,000 cars and 3,50,000 engines. While Fiat's Linea sedan and Grande Punto hatchbacks are produced here, cars like the Manza, Indica Vista and Indica V2 are manufactured for Tata Motors.
