The Tata Nano will soon get a helping hand from British engineers associated with Jaguar-Land Rover. According to a reliable source, Tata Motors has flown down a group of JLR engineers to improve the Nano, which includes detecting the trigger/s for the recent incidents where two Nanos had caught fire.
When contacted for confirmation, a Tata Motors spokesperson said “Tata Motors is conducting a very intense investigation into the incidents. It is being done by a team of experts, drawn from across the company.”
The engineers may also help Tata engineers in preparing the Nano Europa, which is scheduled for a 2011 debut in Europe.
