Chevrolet reveals Malibu Red Line concept for SEMA

The Red Line concept from Chevrolet gets an updated look; expected to be available in the US market by 2016
The 2015 SEMA show will see Chevrolet showcase their Red Line concept with the Malibu series alongside other models.
 
The family sedan from the American automaker will get a silver metallic paint job, satin graphite window line, charcoal roof panel and red accents. The Malibu will also feature black bowtie emblems, black mirror caps and 19-inch alloy wheels.  Other highlights include a suspension lowering kit, tinted lighting units, rear spoiler, hash mark graphics, grille surround and inserts, red fog lamp bezels, black mirror caps, floor liners, cargo mats, sports pedal kit and a roof rack by Thule. 
 
The Malibu is likely to carry the turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine and a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces around 250bhp and 35.69 kgm of torque. The concept is rumoured to start production and sale by 2016 in
the US.
