Audi India launches cut price Business Edition Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro.

Audi India launches the Business Edition variant of the Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro, priced at Rs 35.13 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra).

The new variant comes equipped with 17inch alloy wheels, Xenon plus headlights including LED daytime running lights, leather/leatherette interiors with wooden inserts, and a multifunctional 4-spoke leather steering wheel.

To further enhance driving experience, it comes with the Audi Media Interface with Concert Radio, a storage package, and the rear parking aid among other features. The Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Q with 167bhp reaches a maximum torque of 35.7kgm and with the dynamic 7–speed automatic S tronic transmission the company claims a combined fuel efficiency figure of 12.80 kpl.

Speaking on the occasion, Michael Perschke, Head Audi India said, “The Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Q is perfectly equipped to further strengthen our leadership position in the luxury SUV segment. This attractive price will now make this premium experience accessible to a wider customer base. It is powered by a dynamic and efficient engine and is also equipped with best in-class interior and infotainment features.”

The new variant joins the existing Q5 SUV range that includes the 3.0 TDI and 2.0 TDI diesels and a 2.0TFSI petrol variant. The Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Q will be shipped to India via the CKD route and will be available in showrooms from October 2011 onwards.
