Both the TVS Ronin and Royal Enfield Hunter 350 are excellent choices that are similarly capable in this price range, but both have different riding experiences. The Ronin feels lighter on its feet because it weighs quite a bit less than the Hunter, and while its styling is that of a relaxed retro, it actually has very nice handling. Its engine is also quick to spool up and makes a deep, bassy sound with a strong surge of mid-range torque to boot. On the other hand, the Hunter's long-stroke motor is more mellow and, in our opinion, more characterful too. The riding experience is dominated by the strong low- and mid-range torque here, and it's a pleasure to short-shift on the Hunter and listen to its thumpy beat of an exhaust note. While the Hunter is much heavier than the Ronin, you don't really feel it when you're on the move and darting through city trafic is a breeze on this RE. Take test rides of both, see which one tickles your fancy and then make your decision.

A word of caution first: none of the bikes you have shortlisted will fit within your budget; you will have to extend it significantly to accommodate them. Also, for your needs, the Hero Xpulse 210 seems the better fit overall. It can easily tackle broken roads and off-road conditions while maintaining good composure when riding on tarmac. Yes, this Hero Motocorp bike will have a taller pillion seat, but with a bit of practice and after a brief acclimatization period, it should likely be a non-issue for your pillion. Take a test ride of the Xpulse and then go ahead with your purchase.

Since you're considering the TVS Ronin and the upcoming Honda Rebel 300, we advise you to consider the Honda CB350 range and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350. The Ronin and the air-cooled 350cc motorcycles offer a similar character, with laidback performance and relaxed handling. The Rebel 300, on the other hand, is expected to feel more refined and deliver stronger performance.It would be sensible to wait a few months for the Honda Rebel 300 to launch officially. Take a test ride and compare it with the other options before you go ahead with your purchase.

The TVS Orbiter V2 will just about fit in your budget and is a good fit for your basic daily needs. If you can make the small stretch for it, go for the iQube 2.2, which will offer you a more appealing overall experience.

If you can sort out secure charging at your residence, then going for a proven electric scooter like the TVS iQube, Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak, or Vida VX2 would be our recommendation. For daily use, an e-scooter will be more practical and also save you money with its lower running costs. While the Yamaha MT-15 will surely be more fun and engaging to ride, it won't be able to match the practicality or low running costs of an EV. If you can't go for an EV, but want something more affordable than your MT, then look at 160cc commuters like TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N160 and Honda Unicorn / SP160.
