Honda has introduced updates to its quarter-litre sportbike, the CBR250RR, for the year 2024 in Malaysia. The changes are primarily to the engine, resulting in a slight increase in power output. Meanwhile, other aspects of the CBR250RR remain unchanged.

The changes enhance the engine performance, resulting in a slight increase in power output. The 249cc twin-cylinder engine now delivers 42hp at 13,000rpm and 25Nm at 11,000. The change is a marginal boost of around 1.34hp, while the torque output remains the same as before.
The CBR250RR is equipped with a 37mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Features include a blue backlit LCD dash and an all-LED lighting system. With a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres, the CBR250RR weighs 189kg. It is priced at RM28000 in Malaysia which when converted comes up to nearly Rs 5 lakh. Due to its potentially high price tag, it is unlikely that Honda will bring this motorcycle to India.
