FB Mondial is set to return to India after nearly six years, this time through Motohaus India. The Italian brand will unveil the Piega 452 at India Bike Week 2025, marking a new chapter for the marque that was earlier retailed in India via Kinetic’s Motoroyale division. Back then, the brand sold the HPS 300 here, but operations ceased around 2020 following Motoroyale’s shutdown.

  1. Piega 452’s 449.5cc parallel-twin makes 47.6hp and 39Nm
  2. Bike features aggressive streetfighter styling, single-sided swingarm

FB Mondial Piega 452 details

Gets single-sided swingarm and twin underseat exhaust pipes

At first glance, the Piega 452 stands out immediately for its distinctive design. The motorcycle features aggressive streetfighter styling, sharp bodywork with extended tank shrouds, and a stubby tail section. However, what truly sets it apart is the single-sided swingarm, a feature typically reserved for far more expensive motorcycles; once launched, the Piega 452 could be the most affordable motorcycle in India to feature one. It also gets twin underseat exhaust pipes – a design element that’s become increasingly rare in modern motorcycles.

Powering the Piega 452 is a 449.5cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, producing 47.6hp at 9,500rpm and 39Nm at 7,600rpm. Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm USD fork and a rear monoshock, while braking hardware includes single discs at both ends with Brembo calipers. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch alloy wheels.

On the features front, the Piega 452 has a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, traction control and switchable ABS.

The Piega 452 is priced at 5,990 euros (approximately Rs 6.14 lakh) on the brand’s international website, so expect it to command a noticeable premium when it arrives in India. On paper, it will compete with the Aprilia Tuono 457 (Rs 4.28 lakh) and KTM 390 Duke (Rs 2.97 lakh).

Motohaus India, headquartered in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, has also announced that starting December 2025, it will extend service and after-sales support to existing FB Mondial owners across the country through its dealer network.
